We had the honor of being involved in an opportunity to design an event leading to the Superbowl 53 in Atlanta. We were a part of a showcase along with several other small business and minority business owners that was to host the various operation teams working together to produce the highly anticipated sports event of the year. We wanted to showcase that our city is innovative, cutting-edge, and original. As Atlanta natives and residence, we see the city changing drastically every day. Atlanta was ready the embrace the hundreds of thousands of visitors with our Southern hospitality and our unique culture.

Challenge
Tasked with showcasing the best of Atlanta, we had to design, construct, and install several elements in a short time frame.
Solution
As a part of the narrative of the event, we wanted to showcase both the “Old” and “New” Atlanta seeing that the event was to be played at the spectacular Mercedes-Benz Stadium that sits in the heart o the historic West End. Generations of civil rights heroes, artists, and innovators were born and raised in the surrounding neighborhood. Without being too literal, we created a design that paid homage to the rich history of the City of Atlanta, while also producing a sensory experience.
We constructed a circular TV chandelier with a 15’ diameter in the center of the room. By implementing 3D design software, we were able to design the structure and calculate the exact distance from each point to each TV. Based on these measurements, we were able to prefabricate all mounts and cable lengths to exact specifications resulting in a flawless execution in a short time frame at the event. This was all very technical and required a lot of patience as we navigated the project. The structure was an impressive talking point. As a woman run business, we were incredibly proud to have been able to prove that Atlanta is indeed a top player in the event industry.
